How to Look Young with Less Sleep.
So Selah is doing much better with her sleep nowadays, (praise!) but it didn’t start off that way. It wasn’t that long ago that I felt like a walking zombie, praying for thirty extra minutes of sleep or arguing with my husband whos turn it is to get up with the baby. Fortunately for us moms, we may feel like zombies but we don’t have to look like them! Here are a few tips that may help.
1. Water, Water, Coffee, Water
OK, I’ll be honest, I’m not a huge water fan. I love my warm cup of coffee and it really helps this momma get going but we NEED water. Dehydration takes a huge toll on our skin which causes dull skin, rough texture and an increase in fine lines. Who wants that? So, get your water in however you can. Drink up! I’ll link one of my favorite water bottles. It’s not super fancy but it is large enough that I only drink a full one twice a day to meet my daily goal and I really like the spout on it. 2. Eye cream
I know, I know. Eye cream, it sounds so simple. Unfortunately, there are about 10,000 eye creams. So look for something that has peptides, antioxidants, and CAFFEINE. It is your cup of coffee for your raccoon eyes! Caffeine helps constrict blood flow under the skin and helps reduce puffiness. Here is one of my favorite eye creams! If you know me, you know I love SkinMedica!
We all know the benefits of exercise. It helps blood circulation, boost oxygen, reduce free radicals and helps detoxify the skin from the inside out. Now, exercise may not directly reduce the dark circles but getting out and being active tremendously helped me feel like a human being again. I do not exercise nearly as often as I should but I really enjoy walking outside. Yoga is great too! I got into yoga a few years ago with my sister in law while we were in aesthetic school. We had such a good routine going! I could definitely tell a difference! “>Here is one of my favorite mats!
